STUDENT AMBASSADOR REGISTRATION


THINKTAYLOR STUDENT AMBASSADOR PROGRAM

The THINKTAYLOR Student Ambassador Program is a leadership program that offers MIAA high school students an opportunity to represent their high school and promote THINKTAYLOR/MIAA Concussion Awareness Week.

Ambassadors will encourage their fellow student athletes, athletic directors, athletic trainer, school nurse and principle to participate in Concussion Awareness Week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Using the materials that were sent to their Athletic Director, encourage their school to participate in Concussion Awareness Week by doing the following:

  • Get decked out in as much ORANGE as humanly possible

  • Post provided copies of the #TTpledge outside of locker rooms, nurses office or cafeteria – somewhere highly visable to allow all students to stop and take notice

  • Use provided banner to take pictures/video to social media (Instagram & Twitter), tagging @ThinkTaylorORG and #TTpledge

  • Take the #TTpledge with all student athletes on first day of the week (9.11.17)

  • Take the #TTpledge with individual teams

  • Include the #TTpledge in school morning announcements

  • Read #TTpledge aloud during your biggest athletic event of the week

  • Get every sport involved in the week

  • Encourage school to compete to be the 2017 #TTpledge Winning School

ELIGIBILITY

  • Must have signed approval from Athletic Director

  • Must be current high school athlete

SKILLS NEEDED

  • Enthusiasm to positively represent school and ThinkTaylorKnowledge of ThinkTaylor,

  • Concussion Awareness Week and #TTpledge

  • Ability to lead others

  • Dependable, outgoing, and enthusiastic

COMPENSATION
Student Ambassadors will receive volunteer letter from ThinkTaylor for 20 hours.
